DiDdio in particular frequently uses words affirming "classic" and "timeless", only to turn around and promote the exact opposite.<br /><br />As for the PC-versions of many of their characters, some have worked and some haven't, but consistently ethnic versions of established identities have NOT translated into sales. This type of thing is done to grab wider attention in the non-comics media. It's so that this group of "white guys" can have their moment to shine as champions of the little guy, and yes, I know that Jim Lee is Asian-American, but he's wearing the same hat. Nothing these clowns do translates into new readers, consistent sales, or long-term hits and too damn many readers will spike those Diamond sales charts "sampling" fifty-two #1 issues.<br /><br />Less than five appeal to me base on creative teams alone, and I plan on taking a pass on them.
